Celebrating Utah’s Homeschooling Legacy and Exciting New Beginnings
Hello, Utah homeschoolers! This month, we're thrilled to bring you a wealth of resources to support you in your homeschooling journey, including a look back at the history and achievements that make Utah such a unique state for homeschool families.
Did you know Utah's homeschool laws are some of the best in the country? Created with the help of dedicated homeschooling pioneers, these laws protect our rights and give us the freedom to customize our children's education. We’re grateful for the strong foundation they established for us, making Utah a supportive place for homeschoolers to thrive.
We’re also excited to highlight a major update: the revitalization of the Utah Home Education Association (UHEA)! After some quieter years, UHEA is back with renewed energy to protect and promote homeschooling freedoms. UHEA’s leaders are stepping up in a big way, creating new events and resources to bring homeschool families together and help newcomers start their journey with confidence.
But that’s not all! Utah homeschool leaders are working on something extraordinary—an effort that will strengthen our community and safeguard our freedoms against potential challenges. Stay tuned for more details in our December newsletter as we prepare for an exciting announcement at the Utah Capitol.
In this issue, you’ll find links to resources on how to get started, what UHEA is doing for you, who HSLDA is and why you should care, and how to make the most of our incredible homeschooling laws. We’re so glad you’re part of this amazing journey with us—let’s keep homeschooling strong together!
